Any person violating the provisions of this subsection shall be punished in accordance with section 1-8 of this Code. (d)No owner or occupant of any lands or premises abutting or bordering upon any street or highway shall cause, allow or permit any person to do or perform any of said conduct prohibited by subsection (c) of this section. (c)No person, including the owner or occupant of any lands or premises abutting or bordering upon any street or highway, shall place, deposit, throw or shovel any snow or ice into or upon that portion of any such street or highway which has been cleaned, plowed or shoveled of snow or ice by the town or by any governmental agency or authority at any time after said street or highway has been cleaned or plowed as aforesaid. (b)The provisions of subsection (a) shall also apply to snow falling from any building. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be punished in accordance with section 1-8 for each day after the expiration of such six (6) hours that the snow shall remain on such sidewalk.
